Raleigh to Host International Conference

Plug-In 2011 is switching gears and moving out of California and coming to Raleigh for its electric car conference. This is the first time since the conferences’ inception, that it will be held outside of California. The conference will focus on technical innovation, public policy, and branding and marketing issues for the growing electric-vehicle market.

Set for July 18-21, Plug-In 2011 will be co-sponsored by Progress Energy, Duke Energy, and Electric Power Research Institute.

Poised to become a leader in electric vehicles on the east coast, all eyes will be on Raleigh next July as it prepares for the big event. Sustainable technology is on the rise across the United States, and Raleigh is well-positioned to help usher this new growth and development into the future.
