Private Schools
Wake County is home to 58 private schools with a total enrollment of more than 14,000 students.

Charter Schools
Charter Schools offer an alternative to traditional public and private schools. Charter Schools are primarily funded through Federal, State and Local taxes and are tuition free. There are 13 Charter Schools in Wake County with almost 5,000 students enrolled.
