Raleigh is blessed with a well-diversified economy. No single industry sector dominates our economy. Even within sectors, such as manufacturing, we enjoy a wide range of companies-from valve manufacturers to pharmaceutical manufacturers.
With a large percentage of our economy devoted to government, education and healthcare, we have been able to weather downturns better than most communities.
