If you are a fan of spectator sports, you are in for a treat. Collegiate and professional sporting events take place year round in Raleigh. Even though this area has historically been known for it's ACC basketball, our football, soccer and baseball programs are on the rise in a big way, and we are very proud to be the home of the 2006 Stanley Cup Champion Carolina Hurricanes.
